Farmers convention in Bluru on March
Mysuru: The Karnataka Rajya Raitha Sangha has organised a mammoth convention of farmers on March 21 at Freedom Park in Bengaluru to protest against the ordinance passed on amendment to APMC Act, Land Reforms Act and Prevention of Cow Slaughter and Cattle Preservation Act, 1964.
District unit president of KRRS Hosur Kumar on Wednesday told reporters that farmers expected that the state government will withdraw these anti-farmer laws on the lines of the Union government, but it failed to do so. Another meeting of farmers will also be held on the same spot on March 22 and 23 to prevail upon the state government to withdraw these laws.
